Ingredients:

• 500 g – goat kidney
• 1 – large Onion
• 1.5 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric
• 2 tsp – coriander powder
• 1 cup – Coconut Milk
• 1 – Tomato large
• 2-3 tsp – ginger-garlic paste
• 2-3 – Green chilli
• 1 tsp – black pepper (powder)
• salt
• 4-5 tsp – oil
• 1 tsp – Lemon juice
• 3-4 cups – water
• small bunch – coriander

Method:

  1. First clean the kidney thoroughly with water.
  2. Drain the water and keep aside.
  3. Chop onion and tomato and keep aside.
  4. Take a pressure pan, keep it on the stove and add oil.
  5. When the oil becomes hot, add chopped onions and fry it till golden brown.
  6. When the onions are golden brown, add ginger garlic paste and fry 2-3 mins.
  7. Add kidney and fry it well.
  8. After frying the kidney, add chilli powder, turmeric, dhania powder, green chilli, tomato, salt and mix it properly.
  9. Add coconut milk and mix thoroughly.
  10. After mixing it, add enough water to cook the kidney and pressure cook it till done (5-6 whistles).
  11. When the kidney is well-cooked, adjust the amount of gravy according to your taste. To this, add black pepper and lemon.
  12. Garnish with coriander.
  13. Serve hot rotis or rice.
