Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup – Channa dal
• 1/2 cup – Toor Dal
• 1 – onion, finely chopped
• 2 – green chillies, finely chopped
• 1 inch – ginger, finely chopped
• Salt to taste
• A pinch – Garam Masala
• Oil

Method:

  1. Soak both the dals overnight and grind them.
  2. Add chopped onion, ginger and chillies along-with salt and garam masala.
  3. Heat the oil for frying vadas.
  4. Soak your fingers in water and make broad vadas and fry them till they are brown in colour.
  5. Cut the lightly fried vadas into long pieces.
