
Ingredients:
• 6 – equal sized Bitter gourds
• 1 tsp – Tamarind paste
• 2 tbsp – besan
• 1 tsp – Jeera
• Salt to taste
• 2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• A pinch of Turmeric
• oil to fry
Method:
- Slit the bitter gourds and scoop out the seeds.
- Heat water in a vessel, add the bitter gourds, salt, tamarind paste, turmeric and boil till gourds are tender.
- Strain the water and cool the gourds.
- Meanwhile mix besan, salt, jeera and chilli powder.
- Stuff the mix in the bitter gourds and fry in oil.
- Serve hot with rice.
