
Ingredients:
• 500 g – Prawns (shelled, de-veined, washed and pat dried)
• 4 to 5 Green chillies (finely chopped)
• 1 cup – flour
• 1 tsp – baking powder
• ½ cup – Milk
• 1 Egg (beaten)
• Oil for deep frying
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Sift together the flour and baking powder.
- Add salt to and keep aside.
- Beat the egg and combine it with the milk.
- Add the green chillies.
- Stir in the flour a little at a time and mix well.
- Add the prawns.
- Heat oil in a kadai and carefully drop the prawns into the oil.
- Fry on a medium flame till light brown in colour.
- Serve hot with tomato ketchup and green chutney.
