Ingredients:
• 1 bunch – Spinach
• 2 -red chillies
• 2 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1/2 – Coconut
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 cup – Toor Dal
• For garnishing:
• 2 tsp – Coconut oil
• 1 tsp -mustard seeds
• 1 tsp -urud dal
Method:
- Pressure cook tuvar dal.
- Clean spinach thoroughly and cook it in a vessel by adding some water (very little water is enough to cook spinach) along with salt and turmeric powder.
- Grind the spinach in a blender and keep aside.
- Grind grated coconut, red chillies, cumin seeds and add them to the spinach.
- Add the cooked tuvar dal to these and cook for about 7 minutes.
- Season with coconut oil, mustard seeds and urud dal.
