
Ingredients:
• 1 – bottle guard or Drumstick
• 1/2 cup – well beaten Curd
• 1/2 cup – grated Coconut
• 1 tsp – Coriander seeds
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 10 to 12 – Red Chillies
• 1 tbsp – Jaggery
• Lemon ball sized Tamarind
• 1 sprig – Curry leaves
• Oil and salt to taste
Method:
- Soak the tamarind and extract the pulp.
- Boil the vegetables till it becomes a thick pulp and add turmeric as required.
- Take a little oil and fry coriander, cumin, curry leaves and red chillies. Grind it along with the coconut.
- Mix with the pulp of vegetables and add a spoon of jaggery.
- Add the well beaten curd and let the entire content boil.
- Season with curry leaves, mustard and methi seeds.
- Use coconut oil to get the authentic taste.
- Add salt as required.
- Serve with rice.
