
Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg – boneless Chicken
• 2 – whole Lime (extract juice)
• 2 tbsp – Sugar
• 1 pinch – ajinomoto
• Salt – to taste
• 1 tbsp – Corn flour
• 1/2 tsp – ginger-garlic paste
• 6 tbsp – refined oil (for frying the chicken)
• 1 – medium sized chopped Onion
• 2 Cloves – garlic, finely chopped
• 2 – Celery leaves for garnishing
Method:
- Mix 1/2 cup of water into the sugar and make a thick syrup.
- Mix the lime juice in it, stir and simmer it for sometime (syrup should be thick). Keep it aside.
- Marinate the chicken pieces with corn flour, ginger paste and salt.
- Heat the oil in a non-stick kadai.
- Fry the marinated pieces till brown in colour.
- Keep it aside after it’s fried.
- Fry the chopped onions, garlic till pink in colour.
- Lower the flame and add the fried chicken pieces, adding the sweet and sour syrup for some time.
- Add the celery leaves into it.
- Simmer for some time, adding ajinomoto to it.
