Ingredients:

• 1 bowl yogurt
• 4-5 Green chillies
• 1/2 cup grated Coconut
• 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
• 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
• 1/4 tsp Methi seeds
• Curry leaves
• Salt to taste
• For tempering:
• 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
• 1 tsp Cumin seeds
• Oil
• Coriander leaves for garnishing

Method:

  1. Beat the yogurt thoroughly.
  2. Add methi seeds, turmeric powder and salt.
  3. Keep it aside.
  4. Grind coconut, cumin seeds and green chillies into a paste.
  5. Add the paste to the yoghurt.
  6. Heat it for a little while until a foam comes up on the surface.
  7. Switch the stove off.
  8. Roast mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves in oil and pour on top of the kozhambu. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  9. Serve hot with rice.
