
Ingredients:
• 1 bowl yogurt
• 4-5 Green chillies
• 1/2 cup grated Coconut
• 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
• 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
• 1/4 tsp Methi seeds
• Curry leaves
• Salt to taste
• For tempering:
• 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
• 1 tsp Cumin seeds
• Oil
• Coriander leaves for garnishing
Method:
- Beat the yogurt thoroughly.
- Add methi seeds, turmeric powder and salt.
- Keep it aside.
- Grind coconut, cumin seeds and green chillies into a paste.
- Add the paste to the yoghurt.
- Heat it for a little while until a foam comes up on the surface.
- Switch the stove off.
- Roast mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves in oil and pour on top of the kozhambu. Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with rice.
