Ingredients:

• 500 g – Pomfret fish (cleaned, washed, boiled, de-boned and mashed)
• 500 g – Potatoes (boiled, peeled and mashed)
• 1/2 tbsp – Butter
• 1 Egg (beaten)
• 4 to 5 or more Green chillies (finely chopped)
• 2 tbsp – finely chopped Coriander leaves (finely chopped)
• oil for deep frying
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. In a bowl mix the fish and potatoes together.
  2. Add salt, green chillies, coriander leaves egg, butter and mix well.
  3. Shape into small balls and deep fry in hot oil on a medium flame till golden brown.
  4. Serve hot with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
