
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – tur dal
• 1 cup – finely chopped Palak
• 1 cup – coconut, grated
• 1/2 cup – finely chopped Onion
• 1/2 cup – finely chopped Coriander leaves
• 3 – Green chilli
• 1/2 tsp – Hing
• 1 tsp – oil
• salt to taste
Method:
- Soak tuvar dal overnight. Drain the water and grind it coarsely along with green chilli in a mixer.
- Mix all the other ingredients along with the dal.
- Make oval shaped balls with your palm.
- Smear 1-tsp oil on idli plates.
- Steam the balls in idli stand for 12 minutes.
- Serve hot with tomato sauce.
