
Ingredients:
• 3 cups – Bread flour/All-purpose flour
• 1 tsp – Salt
• 1.5 tsp – Active Dry yeast
• 2 tsp – Sugar
• 1.5 cups – Water
• 3 tbsp – Oil
• 1/2 tsp – Baking soda
• 2 tbsp – Milk (for brushing)
• Sesame seeds
Method:
- Add the yeast, sugar and salt to lukewarm water, stir and set aside for 5 minutes until the yeast turns foamy.
- Place the flour and baking soda in a large bowl and add the foaming yeast water and oil.
- Knead everything into a soft dough.
- Arrange the dough in a large greased bowl and keep in a warm place for two hours until the dough doubles in volume.
- Then punch down the doubled dough and knead again.
- Make 9 small balls from the dough.
- Arrange one by one in a greased mould and let them sit for an hour in a warm place.
- After an hour, preheat the oven to 350 degree F.
- Brush the bread rolls with milk, sprinkle the sesame seeds on the top.
- Bake in middle rack for 15-20 minutes until a golden brown crust forms over the bread.
- Cool.
