Ingredients:
• 8-10 – long, thick Green chillies
• 1/2 – grated fresh Coconut
• 2 tsp – gram powder (besan)
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp -asafoetida powder
• chilly powder
• salt
• 1/2 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 2 tbsp – groundnut oil
Method:
- Wash chillies and wipe it dry. Do not remove stems of chillies.
- Cut on one side only, leaving approx. 1 cm portion on each end.
- Remove all seeds from each chilly.
- Mix grated coconut, turmeric powder, asafoetida, cumin seeds, salt, chilly powder and besan together without using water.
- Stuff this mixture in the chillies.
- Add oil for heating in a fry pan (tawa) and keep stuffed chillies.| |Sprinkle little oil on it, cover them and allow to cook on low flame for 20-30 mins.
- Serve them with hot chapatti or rice.
