Ingredients:
• 1 or 2 kg – tender Beef or mutton, sliced thinly into 2 inch strips
• 3 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 tbsp – Vinegar
• 3 tsp – salt
Method:
- Wash the meat and dry well.
- Jerk or pull the pieces so that they stretch.
- Mix these meat strips with the chilli powder, turmeric powder, vinegar and salt.
- Place on a tray and dry in the sun or dry them in an oven at low temperature till completely dry.
- Store in an airtight container or in the freezer.
- Take out and deep fry in oil whenever required.
