Ingredients:

• Mango – 1
• Salmon fish – 1/2 lb
• Shallots – 5
• Coconut – 1/2 of a Coconut
• Chilli powder – 1.5 tsp
• Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
• Oil – 2 tsp
• Mustard Seeds – 1/4 tsp
• Curry leaves – a few
• Green chillies – 2
• Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Marinate fish for an hour with chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt and lemon.
  2. Cut the mango into small pieces.
  3. Grind together coconut, shallots, turmeric powder into a coarse mixture.
  4. Heat a little oil in a pan.
  5. Crackle mustard seeds.
  6. Add curry leaves and green chillies, and saute for a minute.
  7. Add the ground mixture along with the fish pieces, mango pieces and mix well.
  8. Cover and cook for 15 mins. Serve.
