Ingredients:
• 1/2 litre – Milk
• 3 tbsp – Sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp – vanilla essence
• 1/2 kg – jalebi
• 8 rusks
• Coloured dry Coconut powder and gems for decorating.
Method:
- Boil the milk with the sugar for 1 minute.
- Let it cool a little, then beat in the eggs and vanilla essence.
- Grease a baking dish.
- Line it with the jalebis and rusks in layers.
- Pour the milk mixture all over.
- Keep aside for 15 mins.
- Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees C for half an hour or till it sets.
- Decorate with coconut powder and gems.
- May be served hot or cold.
