Ingredients:

• 1/2 litre – Milk
• 3 tbsp – Sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp – vanilla essence
• 1/2 kg – jalebi
• 8 rusks
• Coloured dry Coconut powder and gems for decorating.

Method:

  1. Boil the milk with the sugar for 1 minute.
  2. Let it cool a little, then beat in the eggs and vanilla essence.
  3. Grease a baking dish.
  4. Line it with the jalebis and rusks in layers.
  5. Pour the milk mixture all over.
  6. Keep aside for 15 mins.
  7. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees C for half an hour or till it sets.
  8. Decorate with coconut powder and gems.
  9. May be served hot or cold.
