Ingredients:

• Methi – 1 tsp (soaked in water for one hour)
• Big masala pappads broken into pieces – 2
• Jeera – 1 tsp
• Tomato – 2 big (sliced)
• Curd – 1/2 cup
• Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
• Coriander powder – 1 tsp
• Chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
• Salt to taste
• Water – 1 cup

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add jeera and fry.
  2. Add the soaked methi after draining the water completely.
  3. Fry for 2-3 minutes and then add tomatoes and curd.
  4. Fry again until the water from the curd has completely evaporated.
  5. Then add turmeric, coriander and chilli powder and fry for one second.
  6. Add water and bring to a boil.
  7. Now add the pappads and salt.
  8. Boil until the pappads are done.
  9. Serve hot with ghee rice.
