Ingredients:
• 1/2 packet – frozen Spinach
• 6 – big Garlic pods
• 1/2 inch – Ginger
• 4 tbsp – Tomato puree
• 2 tsp – cumin powder
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1 pinch – Asafoetida
• 1 pinch – Cumin seeds
• salt to taste
• 4 tbsp – of oil
Method:
- Finely chop the spinach.
- Grate garlic and ginger.
- Heat oil, add asafoetida and then the cumin seeds.
- When it splutters, put the grated garlic-ginger in the oil together.
- When light brown put the tomato puree.
- Let fry. Now put the cumin powder, chilli powder add, the chopped spinach. Fry at high heat.
- When the water from the spinach dries up and the spinach becomes soft, put the salt and garam masala.
- Serve.
