Ingredients:

• 1/2 packet – frozen Spinach
• 6 – big Garlic pods
• 1/2 inch – Ginger
• 4 tbsp – Tomato puree
• 2 tsp – cumin powder
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1 pinch – Asafoetida
• 1 pinch – Cumin seeds
• salt to taste
• 4 tbsp – of oil

Method:

  1. Finely chop the spinach.
  2. Grate garlic and ginger.
  3. Heat oil, add asafoetida and then the cumin seeds.
  4. When it splutters, put the grated garlic-ginger in the oil together.
  5. When light brown put the tomato puree.
  6. Let fry. Now put the cumin powder, chilli powder add, the chopped spinach. Fry at high heat.
  7. When the water from the spinach dries up and the spinach becomes soft, put the salt and garam masala.
  8. Serve.
