Ingredients:
• 2 lbs – Pomfret fish.
• 3 – tomatoes.
• 4 – Garlic cloves.
• 3 tbsp – vinegar.
• 1 tbsp – sugar.
• 2 tbsp – Olive oil.
• Salt to taste.
• 1/2 cup – coriander leaves| Masala for grinding:
• 2 – tomatoes.
• 6 – dry chillies.
• 2 tsp – cumin powder.
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder.
Method:
- Clean, cut and wash the fish and sprinkle a pinch of salt.
- Grind the masala, then heat oil in a vessel and lightly fry the fish.
- Add chopped garlic, sugar, chopped tomato, vinegar, salt, and cook it covered for about 2 mins.
- Then add the ground masala, half a cup of water and bring it to a boil.
- Add sugar and salt to taste.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
