
Ingredients:
• Soak overnight:
• 1/4 cup- Matki
• 1/4 cup- Chavli
• 1/4 cup- Whole Moong
• 1/4 cup- Kabuli Channa
• 1/4 cup- Green Channa
• 1/4 cup- Black Channa
• Grind to paste:
• 1/4 cup- Coconut
• 7-8 Green chillies
• 1/2 bunch- Coriander
• 1 tsp- Jeera
• 1/2 tsp- Pepper
• 1 inch- Ginger
• 4-5 Cloves Garlic
• Tamarind- about the size of half Lemon
• For Tadka
• 1 tsp- Rai
• 1 tsp- Jeera
• 8 – 10 Curry Patta
• 2 Onion, finely cut
Method:
- Pressure cook the soaked items till they are cooked (a little firm).
- Heat oil in a kadai and add the tadka ingredients. Fry the onions, add the ground masala paste.
- Transfer this to the pressure cooked dals and let it cook with the masala for about 20 minutes.
- Can be served with rice, bread, chapattis etc.
