
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Moong dal
• 7 to 10 – Red Chillies
• 2 Cloves – Garlic
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• Salt as per taste
• 2 Tbsp – Lime Juice
• For Seasoning: 1 tsp – Urad Dal
• 1 tsp – Chana dal
• a pinch – Hing
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 2 to 3 – Curry leaves
• 2 tbsp – Oil
Method:
- Soak moong dal for 30 mins. Then grind moong dal, red chillies, cumin seeds, salt and garlic into a thick fine paste.
- Take oil in the seasoning pan, add mustard seeds.
- When they start spluttering, add urad dal, chana dal and hing. When the contents become golden brown, add curry leaves and the seasoning mix to the ground paste.
- Then add the lime juice.
- Serve with hot rice and ghee.
