• Flaked, Beaten Rice (Poha/Chiwda) – 1/4 cup
• Par boiled Rice – 2 cups
• salt to taste
• 1/4 tsp – baking soda

- Next day, grind to a fine smooth paste with 2 tsp salt.
- Add 1/4 tsp baking soda just before preparing dosa.
- Heat a non-stick tawa, pour the batter to form a thick dosa.
- Put little ghee or oil around and close with a lid.
- Cook over medium flame for a few minutes till there is no raw batter on top of dosa.
- Do not turn around as it looses its spongy texture.
- Serve hot with any chutney of your choice.
