
Ingredients:
• 1/4 cup – Rice (roasted)
• 1/4 cup – Urad Dal (roasted)
• 1. 5 cups – Water
• 1/4 cup – Grated Jaggery
• 1/2 tsp – Cardamom powder
• 3 tbsp – Gingili oil
Method:
- Dry roast the rice and urad dal separately until they turn slightly brown.
- Grind them as a coarse powder.
- Heat the water to boil, add the jaggery and cook until it melts.
- Now strain the jaggery syrup and bring it to boil.
- Slowly start adding the flours and cardamom powder.
- Stir continuously and take care not to form lumps.
- Add oil slowly and stir continuously.
- Cook on a slow fire for a few minutes until they turn a thick paste.
