Ingredients:

• Lemon – 10
• Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
• Red Chilli powder -1.5 tsp
• Mustard Seeds – 1 spoon
• Fenugreek seeds – 1/2 tsp
• Cumin – 1/4 spoon
• Sugar – 10 tsp
• Salt – 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Wash, dry and cut lemons in to halves and squeeze out a little juice and cut then into small cubes.
  2. Put the pieces into an airtight jar.
  3. Add salt, red chilli, turmeric to pieces and close the lid, shake well.
  4. Keep for 5 to 6 days, shaking often.
  5. Warm cumin, mustard, fenugreek in a microwavable bowl and powder it.
  6. Add this powder, sugar to the lemon pieces and shake well.
  7. Keep for 1 to 2 days.
