Ingredients:
• Peel the pineapple, cut into slices and grate
• grated Pineapple – 2 cup
• Ginger – 2 tbsp, minced
• water – 1/2 cup
• salt – 2 tsp
• Sugar – 1 cup
• chilli powder – 2 tsp
• Cloves 4, crushed
• Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
• malt Vinegar – 1/2 cup
Method:
- Combine pineapple with ginger and water. Simmer for 5 mins.
- Add salt, sugar and chilli powder. Cook till the sugar is dissolved.
- Add vinegar and cook till the chutney is thick (like a sticky paste).
- Add cloves and cardamom.
- Cool and store in a clean bottle in refrigerator.
