
Ingredients:
• Cabbage – 1/4 kg finely chopped
• Onion – 1, finely chopped
• Coconut – 1/4 cup freshly grated
• Turmeric powder – 1/20 tsp
• Green chillies – 2-3
• Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
• Urad Dal – 1 tsp
• Curry leaves – A few
• Salt to taste
• Oil – 1 tsp
Method:
- Mix cabbage, chopped green chillies and onion well
- Boil the mixture with turmeric powder and salt.
- In the meantime grind the coconut to a coarse paste.
- Boil the vegetables.
- Once the vegetables are boiled, heat oil in pan, add mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves and allow it to splutter.
- Then pour the above over the boiled vegetables and mix it well.
- Fry it for a minute and then add the paste and mix well.
- Cook it for 2-3 mins more.
- Serve hot with hot rice and sambhar.
