Ingredients:

• Ginger -garlic paste – 1 tbsp
• Onions -3
• Tomatoes – 2
• Tofu – 1 packet
• Peas – 1 cup
• Turmeric powder -1 tsp
• Chilli powder – 1 tbsp
• Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
• Cumin powder – 1 tbsp
• Garam Masala powder – 1 tsp
• Coriander leaves – few sprigs
• Oil – 3 tbsp
• Salt to taste.

Method:

  1. Saute onions till they become transparent and grind them with tomatoes to a smooth paste.
  2. In a heavy bottom kadai, saute peas with little oil till it gets a bright green colour and keep it aside.
  3. In the kadai, saute the paste in oil for 5 mins, add the garlic-ginger paste to it. Saute for a while.
  4. Add chilli, turmeric, coriander, garam masala and cumin powder and stir for 5 mins.
  5. Add water to the mixture and let it boil.
  6. Add peas, tofu and salt. Now simmer it till the curry thickens.
  7. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
