Ingredients:

• Bhindi (Okra) – 250 gms
• Jeera – 1 tbsp
• Garam Masala – 1 tbsp
• Oil – 3-4 tbsp
• For Filling:
• Turmeric powder – 1/2 tbsp
• Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
• Red Chilli powder – 1/2 tbsp
• Saunf – 1 tbsp
• Salt – 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Wash bhindis and dry.
  2. Remove the caps and slit lengthwise from top to bottom. Don’t slice through.
  3. Mix all the ingredients for the filling into a tight mixture using some oil.
  4. Fill into the slits in the bhindis.
  5. Heat 3-4 tbsp of oil in a pan. Add jeera and when it splits, add any extra masala.
  6. Add stuffed bhindis and cover the pan.
  7. Once the bhindi is cooked sprinkle garam masala on top.
  8. Serve hot with chapattis.
