Ingredients:
• Bhindi (Okra) – 250 gms
• Jeera – 1 tbsp
• Garam Masala – 1 tbsp
• Oil – 3-4 tbsp
• For Filling:
• Turmeric powder – 1/2 tbsp
• Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
• Red Chilli powder – 1/2 tbsp
• Saunf – 1 tbsp
• Salt – 1 tbsp
Method:
- Wash bhindis and dry.
- Remove the caps and slit lengthwise from top to bottom. Don’t slice through.
- Mix all the ingredients for the filling into a tight mixture using some oil.
- Fill into the slits in the bhindis.
- Heat 3-4 tbsp of oil in a pan. Add jeera and when it splits, add any extra masala.
- Add stuffed bhindis and cover the pan.
- Once the bhindi is cooked sprinkle garam masala on top.
- Serve hot with chapattis.
