Ingredients:
• 100 g – khoya
• 100 g – Paneer
• 2 tbsp – Maida
• 1/2 cup – Raisins
• 1/2 cup – misri (candied sugar)
• Ghee – for frying
• 2 cups – Sugar
• 1 cup – water
• 1/2 tsp – Cardamom powder
Method:
- Grate khoya and paneer.
- Add in refined flour, a little milk and knead to make a soft dough.
- Cover with a wet cloth and leave it for half an hour.
- Boil sugar and water to make a syrup of one-spring consistency and add cardamom powder.
- Make small balls of equal size with the dough with one raisin and a small piece of misri in the centre.
- Heat ghee in a frying pan, deep fry the balls on low heat till golden in colour.
- Add to the sugar syrup. Serve after 1 hour.
