
Ingredients:
• 1 – large Ridge gourd
• 2 – Onions (cut into small pieces)
• 1 – stalk Curry leaves
• 4 – Green chillies
• 2 – 3 – small strips of Tamarind
• salt
• For seasoning :
• 1 tbsp – oil
• 1 pinch -mustard
• 1 pinch – Jeera
• 1 pinch -urad dal
• 1 pinch – Hing
Method:
- Cut gourd into small pieces.
- Heat 1tsp of oil in a pan, add green chillies . After a minute add the gourd pieces and tamarind strips and allow it to cook for 10 minutes.
- As fresh veggies have water inside it cooks well.
- Now add salt and remove from flame
- Allow it to cool. Grind all these to a rough mixture.
- In a pan heat 1tbsp of oil and add all the seasoning along with curry leaves.
- Now add onions cut into small pieces and allow them to cook for a couple of minutes.
- Now add the ground mixture and mix well, leave this on flame for 5 minutes.
- It is ready to serve hot with rice or roti.
