
Ingredients:
• Rice – 2 cups
• Mutton – 1/2 kg
• Ghee – 2 tbsp
• oil – 2 tbsp
• Garlic and Ginger paste – 2 tbsp
• Chilli powder – 2 tbsp or according to taste
• Dhania powder – 1/2 tbsp
• Onion – 1 big
• Tomato – 2
• Coriander – 4 stems
• Mint – 2 stems
• Lemon juice – few drops
• Coconut paste – 1 tbsp
• Powdered cloves, elaichi, Cinnamon – 2 each
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Pour oil and ghee in a pressure cooker.
- Add chopped onion and ginger-garlic paste. After it’s fried well, add tomatoes and fry it on a low flame.
- Add chilli powder, dhania powder, salt and coconut paste.
- Then add the mutton and pour some water.
- Add 1.5 cup water to 2 cups of rice.
- When the mutton is cooked, add rice, coriander, mint, powdered spices and lemon juice.
- Keep on low flame till the rice is cooked.
- For raita add chopped onion, chilli, coriander, mint, salt, few drops of lemon juice to the curd.
