
Ingredients:
• 500 grams – dried Apricots
• 500 grams – Dates
• 1 kg – soft Brown sugar
• 500 grams – white Sugar
• 3 tbsp – Lime juice
• 3 tbsp – Lime juice
• 1/2 tsp – active Dry yeast
• 4 liters – water
Method:
- Chop the apricots and dates and boil with 2 litres of water till soft.
- Remove from heat and mix in the sugar, brown sugar and lime juice and mix well.
- When cold sprinkle the yeast on top.
- Keep covered to ferment for 21 days, stirring every day.
- Strain and throw away the residue.
- Let it stand for 2 more weeks then strain and bottle.
