Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg Chicken – cut into small pieces
• 3 big Onions – cut into small light slices
• 2 red Tomatoes – cut into small pieces
• 4 long Green chillies – cut into small pieces
• 3 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 2 tsp – coriander powder
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp – pepper power
• 3 tsp – curry masala (Patta, grambu, Jeera, cardamom, curry masala etc)
• 4 tsp – oil
• 1/2 tsp – mustard
• 10 – Curry leaves
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Mix chicken with chilly powder and turmeric. Marinate for a half an hour.
- Pour oil in a hot pan. Add mustard and curry leaves.
- Then add ginger garlic paste and fry it till golden brown.
- Add coriander powder, pepper and curry masala. Mix well.
- Add onions and fry till golden brown.
- Add green chillies and tomatoes. Once the gravy is mixed well, add the marinated chicken pieces.
- Mix well and cook for 20 minutes. Try not to pour water.
- If it is too dry then pour just enough water to cook the chicken.
- Cook till the curry is dry.
- Garnish with mint and coriander leaves.
