Ingredients:

• 6 – large Tomatoes
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 tsp – oil
• 3 – Green chillies (use more if you like it spicy)
• 1 – small bunch Coriander leaves
• Hing – small pinch
• Salt – to taste

Method:

  1. Cut tomatoes and green chillies, add about 4 tbsp water and the cumin seeds, and cook till tomatoes start turn mushy.
  2. Add salt and coriander leaves.
  3. Using a potato masher, mash up the mixture.
  4. Heat oil, add mustard. When it splutters, add the hing and pour into the tomato mix.
  5. Serve with hot rice, dhoklas and even idlis.
