
Ingredients:
• 1 kg – Beef tongue
• 2 tbsp – coriander
• 10 – pepper Corns
• 10 – large chillies
• 1 tsp – jeera/cumin seeds
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 4 – medium Green chillies
• 1 inch – Ginger
• 5 flakes – Garlic
• 3 – medium Onions
• Salt – to taste
• 3 tbsp – Vinegar
• 1 – Cinnamon
• 5 – Cloves
• 3 tbsp – Ghee
• 400 gms – Potatoes
Method:
- Cut and wash the beef tongue and keep aside.
- Grind coriander, pepper corns, large chillies, jeera, mustard, ginger and garlic.
- Slice onions and green chillies.
- Mix meat, ground masala, cloves, cinnamon, salt and vinegar, with 3 cups of water and pressure cook till the meat is tender.
- Remove the lid after the pressure has been discharged and add pared potatoes cut in cubes, with ghee.
- Add the sliced masala and continue cooking till the potatoes are cooked.
