Ingredients:
• 2 tbsp – vanilla custard powder
• 2.5 cups – Milk
• 1.25 cup – Sugar
• 1/2 cup – Milk Cream
• 2 tbsp – Almonds and walnuts, chopped
• 1/2 tsp – Nutmeg powder
• 1/2 tsp – green cardamom, crushed
Method:
- Boil milk in a vessel till it is reduced by 3/4th.
- Add vanilla custard powder in 1/2 cup milk. Stir to avoid lumps.
- Add this vanilla milk in the boiling milk, stir continuously on low heat.
- Add nuts and sugar, cook for 2 minutes and remove from heat. Cool it.
- Add nutmeg powder and cardamom.
- Beat milk cream in a bowl. Add milk cream in cooled vanilla milk.
- Beat the whole mixture again.
- Fill in flat box, kulfi moulds or any bowl of your choice.
- Freeze for 6-8 hours.
- It should be covered while freezing.
- Serve chilled.
