
Ingredients:
• 1.75 cups – Maida
• 1/4 cup – unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1 cup – finely powdered Sugar (1/4 cup more if you like it sweeter)
• 1 cup – butter/ margarine
• 1/4 tsp – vanilla essence
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
Method:
- Sieve the maida, cocoa and baking soda together. Keep aside.
- Beat the butter and vanilla essence with sugar until fluffy.
- Add in the maida-cocoa mix. Mix well.
- Shape into small balls and flatten them a little.
- Place on greased baking trays and bake at 150 degrees C for 20 minutes or until done.
- Cool and store in air-tight containers.
