Ingredients:

• 1 packet – Mushrooms
• 1 cup – besan
• 2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – dhania-jeera powder
• 1 – medium-sized Onion finely chopped
• 5 Cloves – garlic, finely chopped
• Salt – to taste
• Haldi powder – 1 tsp
• 1 tsp – Lemon juice (optional)
• Coriander leaves, finely chopped

Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients with the besan and make a thick batter. You can add soda or baking powder as per your choice.
  2. Clean mushrooms and apply a little salt (take whole mushroom if they are small and cut into four pieces if large).
  3. Dip in batter and deep fry in hot oil.
  4. Serve with lemon wedges and onion rings.
