Ingredients:

• 2 cans – Tuna fish (drained)
• 1 – Egg
• 1/2 – Onion (finely chopped)
• 1/2 – Tomato (finely chopped)
• 1 – Green chilli (finely chopped)
• 1 tbsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 2 – Potatoes (mashed)
• 1/2 tbsp – Soya sauce
• Breadcrumbs
• Chilli powder to taste
• Pepper to taste
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet. Add the ginger-garlic paste and chopped onions and fry it till lightly brown.
  2. Next, add the tomato and green chilli.
  3. After about 5 minutes, add the tuna fish and mix well.
  4. Add the soya sauce, salt, chilli powder and pepper powder to your liking.
  5. Turn off the heat and add the mashed potatoes – making a dough-like paste.
  6. Let it cool until the paste is easy to work with.
  7. Beat the egg and set aside.
  8. Heat oil separately in a pan on medium low.
  9. Form 1-inch balls out of the tuna mixture.
  10. Dip it in the egg first and then cover it with the bread crumbs, before frying it in the oil.
  11. Once they are lightly brown on all sides, take them and drain. Serve hot.
