
Ingredients:
• 1/4 cup – Rice
• 1/4 cup – Jaggery
• 4 tsp – Ghee
• 1 tsp – Ghee for garnishing
• 1tsp – cut cashews, Raisins and badams
Method:
- Cook the rice.
- When it is ready, take it in a pan and add jaggery to it.
- When the jaggery completely dissolves in the rice, add the 1 tsp of ghee to it.
- Take a pan and heat it with the 4 tsps of ghee in it.
- Add some cashews, raisins and badam to it.
- When the cashews turn slightly brownish, then add it to the payasam mix.
- Your vella payasam is ready. Serve it cold.
