
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – fine Rawa
• 1/2 cup – Milk
• 4/5 cup – sugar, ground
• 1/2 tsp – Cardamom powder
• 15 to 20 – Saffron strands
• 1/2 cup – Ghee
Method:
- Sieve rawa in a large plate or bowl.
- Add 1 tbsp of melted ghee.
- Sprinkle milk and press down firmly.
- Keep aside for 8-10 minutes.
- Melt remaining ghee in a heavy bottomed pan.
- Crumble rawa with fingers.
- Add to melted ghee, stirring continuously with a spatula.
- Stir and roast till rawa gives out a strong aroma and turns light pink and the ghee starts to separate.
- Transfer to a large bowl and cool for 2 minutes.
- Add sugar, cardamom, saffron and mix well.
- Press firmly, shaping into ladoos of desired size.
- Cool completely, before storing in airtight container.
