Ingredients:
• 2 cups – all purpose flour
• 1.5 cup – Sugar
• 1 cup – dry Coconut powder
• 1/2 stick – unsalted Butter
• water for kneading
• 1/2 tsp – Cardamom powder
• oil for deep frying
Method:
- First make the filling by mixing all the dry ingredients including coconut powder, sugar and cardamom powder.
- Mix the all purpose flour, butter and water to form a thick chapatti-like dough.
- Make small balls of this dough.
- Roll one ball at a time into a round shape about the size of a poori.
- Place 1.5 tsp of the filling on the rolled dough and seal the edges with small drops of milk.
- Then deep fry it until it gets a golden brown tinge.
- Remove and drain it on paper towels.
- Can be stored up to 15-20 days in an airtight container.
