Ingredients:

• 500 g – Paneer
• 300 g – boiled and mashed peas
• 1 to 2 tsp – gram flour
• 1 to 2 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• Salt
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric
• 1 onion, finely chopped,
• Coriander leaves
• 1 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste

Method:

  1. In a wok, heat oil and fry the onions to a golden brown.
  2. When at room temperature, grind to a soft paste.
  3. In a bowl, crush the paneer and mix in mashed peas.
  4. Add red chilli powder, salt, turmeric, garam masala powder and chopped coriander leaves.
  5. Mix all of these thoroughly and make small balls.
  6. Deep fry these balls and keep aside.
  7. In a separate pan, heat oil and add the onion paste
  8. Fry for a while, add coriander leaves, ginger garlic paste and red chilli powder and fry.
  9. Add some water and cook until a thick gravy of medium consistency is formed.
  10. To this, add the fried koftas/balls.
  11. Serve with paranthas or rice.
