
Ingredients:
• Ingredients for kofta:
• Keema – 1/2 kg
• Ginger paste – 2 tsp
• Garlic paste – 2 tsp
• Cloves and Cinnamon – 1/2 tsp
• Green chillies – 5
• Chutney Dal – 1/4 cup (powdered)
• Onions- 1 big, chopped fine
• Salt to taste
• Coriander leaves
• Ingredients for the Gravy:
• Onion, chopped – 1
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• To grind: 1/2 cup grated Coconut
• Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tsps
• 2 tsps – Red Chilli powder
Method:
- Grind the kheema, green chillies, cinnamon and cloves.
- Mix the rest of the ingredients mentioned for the kofta. Make small balls.
- Take a little water in a pan and put the kheema balls in it.
- Cover and cook for about 10 minutes.
- Take another pan and add 2-3 tsp of oil.
- When it is hot, add garam masala and onion.
- Fry and add the paste of coconut, red chilli powder and ginger-garlic paste.
- Fry it for a while.
- Add water to make gravy. Take care not make it too thin.
- Now add the keema balls and boil for 1/2 an hour.
