Ingredients:
• 4 cups – Milk
• 1 cup – Water
• 1/4 cup – Rice rava
• 1 cup – Sugar
• 1 tsp – Cardamom powder
• a few Cashewnuts
• Silvered Almonds
• a few Saffron strands
• 1 tbsp – Ghee
Method:
- Heat ghee in a heavy bottomed vessel and fry the cashews until light brown.
- To the same ghee, add the rice rava and fry till it turns brown.
- Now add the milk, water and cook on medium flame for 15-20 minutes.
- Stir frequently until the rice rava is cooked.
- Now add the sugar and cook until it is dissolved.
- Finally, add the cardamom powder, fried cashews, saffron strands and give it a stir. Take off heat.
- Serve this pudding chilled or warm topped with silvered almonds.
