
Ingredients:
• Cabbage – 1/2
• Sambar powder – 1 tsp
• Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
• Urad Dal -1/2 tsp
• Green gram – 2 tbsp
• Coconut (grated) -1 tbsp
• Turmeric powder (optional) -1 tsp
• Onion (optional) -1/2
• Rice flour- 1 tbsp
• Curry leaves – few
• Oil -1 tsp
• Salt as per taste
Method:
- Chop cabbage.
- In a pressure cooker, add cabbage, green gram, sambar powder, salt, turmeric powder (optional), and 1/2 to 3/4 glass of water; pressure cook until one whistle.
- When the steam is completely released, add coconut and rice flour (mixed with water).
- Temper with cumin seeds and urad dal in oil and mix with the cooked cabbage.
- Allow it to boil for few minutes.
- Garnish with curry leaves.
- Serve hot with rice.
