
Ingredients:
• For kofta:
• 1 head – Broccoli
• 2 – boiled Potatoes
• 1 tsp – ginger-garlic paste
• 1 tsp – chopped chillies
• For gravy:
• 1 tsp – whole Garam Masala
• 1 tsp – Onion paste
• 1 tsp – ginger-garlic paste
• 1 tsp – Green chillies
• 2 – Tomato puree
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – dhania-jeera powder
• 1 tsp – Haldi
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• Salt
• 1/2 cup – water or Milk
• Oil – as needed
• To garnish:
• Cream – as needed
• Kasuri Methi – as needed
Method:
- Method for kofta:
- Boil or steam the broccoli, and mash it well.
- Add the potatoes.
- Add salt, ginger-garlic paste, and chillies.
- Mix well and make small balls out of it.
- Deep fry them and keep aside.
- For the gravy:
- Take oil in a kadai; add garam masala and allow it to splutter. Then add onion paste.
- Fry it till the oil separates.
- Then add ginger-garlic paste, green chillies, and tomato puree.
- Add all the dry ingredients and fry well till the oil leaves the masala.
- Add water to make gravy or use milk to give richness.
- Add the koftas just before serving the dish.
- Finish it with cream and kasuri methi for garnish.
