Ingredients:

• 1 kg – cabbage, grated
• 1/2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp – Salt
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala
• 2 – onions, sliced
• 4 – garlic, sliced
• 10 gm – grated Coconut
• 50 g – Vinegar
• Mustard Seeds – 1/4 tsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds.
  2. When they start popping add the onions and garlic. Fry till golden brown.
  3. Add chilli powder, turmeric and salt to this mixture. Then add the grated cabbage. Cover and cook for 5 mins on low heat. Take care that it does not burn.
  4. Add vinegar, coconut and the garam masala. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Serve hot
