Ingredients:

• 3 – carrots, grated
• 2 – small bell peppers, finely chopped
• 2 – Green chillies
• 1/2 Lemon -Lemon juice
• 1/2 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• a pinch- Asafoetida
• salt
• 1/2 tsp – oil

Method:

  1. Wash and peel the carrots and grate them using a grater. Wash the bell peppers and cut them into tiny cubes. Mix both the vegetables and add salt.
  2. In a small fry pan add the oil and once heated add the mustard seeds and let it splutter.
  3. Add the cut green chillies and asafoetida.
  4. Add this to the vegetable.
  5. Add the lemon juice and toss well.
  6. Tastes yummy with sambhar rice.
