
Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup – Channa dal
• 1/4 cup – Rice
• 1/4 cup – Urad Dal
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Green chilli paste
• 1/4 cup – chopped Onion
• salt to taste
• A few Coriander leaves
• Oil
Method:
- Soak the dals and rice together for 2 hours, then grind it into a thick and coarse paste.
- Add the chopped onions, chilli powder, coriander leaves and green chilli paste, mix well and prepare the batter.
- Heat a girdle and spread a scoop of the batter evenly on the pan.
- Add oil around edges and cook. When it turns slightly golden, remove and serve with chutney.
