Ingredients:

• For deep frying:
• 4 medium sized – Potatoes (cut into bite sized pieces)
• 1 tsp – soya sauce
• 1 tsp – chilli sauce
• 1/2 tsp – pepper powder (according to taste)
• 2 tsp – Corn flour
• a pinch – ajinomoto
• salt to taste
• For the gravy:
• 2 tsp – Curd
• 2 sprigs – coriander and Mint
• 2 – Green chillies
• 2 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• a pinch – red color

Method:

  1. Mix the ingredients for deep frying and keep aside for 2 minutes.
  2. Deep fry and keep aside for later use.
  3. Grind all the gravy ingredients into a thick paste. Don’t add a lot of water.
  4. Fry the gravy in 4 tsp of oil with curry leaves and garlic cloves till the gravy gets thick and the oil separates
  5. Add the fried potatoes and fry on simmer for 4min.
  6. Variation: The same curry can be replaced with cauliflower or chicken.
  7. Serve with steamed rice and ghee.
